Hi, can you come give me a quote on regular lawncare?

…you see, my lawn’s just not as green as it used to be. And it’s taking me forever to mow the lawn, can you help with that?

Here’s my place. You see the little marker, well that’s a bit deceiving. It’s a bit larger than that. I have to take care of everything extending out to about 10 feet beyond all the roads you see in this photo. Would that be a problem? I think you can see why it’s taking me forever.

Ok, seriously. You think I need to arrange for lawncare? I’m a resident of an apartment complex!!!

Last year, I posted asking the lawn care folks in the area to Go Green! Basically, take a look at the mailing lists you’re buying and filter out all of the apartment complexes. There are a few in the area. There are 600 units in mine. Let’s assume a $0.335 per piece rate. You could save $201 in postage just by excluding all of the units in my complex. Even if you got the a $0.194 per piece rate, you’d save $116.40. Um, that’s real money.

Ok, so you could save yourself money–green. Oh, and you wouldn’t have to print as many items–another green step. Oh, and I wouldn’t have to recycle the mailing–that’s still a green step.
