I want to be reminded 23025 minutes after an event, thanks iCal

,

I was entering a calendar entry into my Apple iCal calendar–to remind myself to return or renew a book. Yes, an actual paper book, that I had checked out of the MIT library.

Here’s a screenshot of my alarm (reminder) options…

Um, ok. I’d like to be reminded 23,025 minutes after the event. Just in case I forgot.

It turns out something in Apple’s 10.6.4 update messed up the iCal plist file.
